    David J. Goth, age 54, of Madison, died on Sunday, March 7, 1999, at home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 20, 1944, he served in the Navy and was employed by Giloman Trucking and Equipment for 24 years. He loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, hunting and especially going up north to the cabin. David had many talents and made many meaningful and thoughtful gifts to the people close to him. David had given us many special memories that we will hold close to our hearts. He is survived by his wife, Betty Goth of Madison; a daughter, Donielle Goth of Madison; a step-daughter, Julie Dorn of Waunakee; a sister, Teona Rothman of Madison; two brothers, Howard Goth of Texas and Michael (Bonnie) Goth of Cottage Grove; a step-sister; two step-brothers; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Rachel (Shinneman) Goth; a step-mother, Jean Goth; and a sister, Patricia (Goth) Kaltenberg. David will be greatly missed by all including "The Boys", his two dogs, Buster Brown and Maxwell Smart. Funeral services wil be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, on Wednesday, March 10, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Steven Brewer will officiate. Burial will be at Middleton Junction Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 9, 1999 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 until the time of services.
